SHORT SUMMARY: Let's 'blog' with our students
This session will provide a quick guide on setting up your own blogs, using some of the most famous and easiest platforms (blogger and wordpress), and how to use them in the classroom to improve your students’ skills: writing, reading, listening and speaking. We will also focus on how to make the most of the new technologies resources: posts and mails, treasure hunts and webquests, audacity and moviemaker, chats and wikis.
BIODATA: Ester Boldú Grau
I’ve been teaching Primary, Secondary and Adults levels in Spain since 1998. I have a degree in English Translation and Interpretation from the UV in 1995, and also a degree in Journalism from the UPF in 2002. I am currently working at IES Pau Vila (Sabadell) where I am taking part in a Comenius project with exchange students from Italy. I have a long experience in using ICT resources in the classroom to motivate and improve my students' English level.
